I can't find any guides for this subclass. Any ideas? Here is my theorycraft...

For SKILLS, here is my thoughts: 131-points. 134-points w/Meditation. Rest into Barrage.

For MO's, on weapon INNATE ELEMENTAL and LIFE ON KILL. Everything else DEXTERITY
For actual weapon, elemental bow (non-physical)

The main and only problem I am running into is with mana. Since I do no physical, I can't leech mana. There are NO MO's with Mana on Kill... except for Melee. So, other than putting 3-points into Meditation, which sucks, how do I regenerate my mana quick enough to not stop attacking?

The other main problem is how to increase damage. Adding a shit-ton of +fire spell damage MO's did NOTHING. Same with +enhanced damage, +max damage. The ONLY thing that actually increases my damage seems to be "innate elemental", but it is so little. Is this really the only way to increase my damage? I guess I just need to find items with +damage if that is the case, and if so, what are the best MO's to use? With SMAX DEX, I don't need attack rate, leech does no good, with ESTATIC FRENZY, I don't need Defense. I'm struggling figuring out what to MO.

And I am aiming for tri-elemental pierce. With my SSF inventory and skills, currently at -70% all elements, but for bossing, I think I need to get much higher.

Any thoughts how to improve this build?

P.S., my merc has a sword granting the SALVATION aura. If it's the same as D2 Classic, then I assume it penalizes enemy resists by a significant amount. Does this apply to MY ATTACKS as well? When my merc is near me, I get his Salvation ICON on my nav bar, so I assume the answer is yes, but I wanted to check and be certain.

Merc-Aura: Salvation aura is party elemental Absorb iirc.

the main scaling for damage is innate elemental dmage modifier and scaling attribute, as well as pierce. bowzon has the problem that it need rainbow pierce, which is way more costly to aquire than single element. also, hunter druid gets rainbow pierce for free by just clicking 1 skill point , bowzon hates that.
i didn't play bowzon to find a solution to the mana problem. theres relics with mana on kill and ohman relic has mana on striking even i believe. mana on striking can also very rarely roll on elemental bows.

i want to put one more idea in your head: have you considered combo'ing

and EF for magic dmg build? i dont know how well that would do, but seems like an alternative for IED build. its requiring a Samael item tho. quick dmg check is 10-12k magic dmg with the bow skill, phalanx gets way more. could be fun, idk. oh and with the bow, it has no attribute scaling, can go full vit with it. hm then you have serious AR issues, mayb fixable. lets call her weirdzon.

Do you not know how elemental weapons (and elemental weapon damage in general) work? At least I assume by "elemental bowzon" you mean a bowzon with an IED weapon.
The only way to scale those is by pumping their main scaler stat on top of -% enemy res (very tricky for tri-ele). And flat ele damage, but this only scales with -% enemy res.
The only way to recover outside of life/mana on kill is with life/mana on striking (requires a ton of multihit to be useful) and life spark on striking proc (very limited sources for bow builds).
Amazon IED SU/SSU bows and class bow runewords are le bad, so you'd have to build around crafts.
And the reason you don't see any guide is because ele bowzon requires a ton of investment just to be comparatively good to a phys bowzon in the set, aka she sucks. All the elemental memes on her tree exist only to nerf her phys damage, don't get baited into thinking it's a real build base.

That is disappointing. It seems from the outside there is a real unique build possibility there using innate elements and enhancing that with the elemental bows that do zero physical. Oh well. I guess whatever concept was being worked on was abandoned. I would have just given elemental bows flat +innate elemental damage% that enhances your skills damage. What a shame. Guess I'll spec into physical at 120.

Siosilvar, I am quite disappointed in this build. I literally got everything you recommended, including Quov Ammy to reach -199 F/L/C enemy resists, and yes, damage seems very decent however without a way to gain life quickly, it sucks for one (this needs to be considered from a development POV otherwise you shoehorn players into wearing specific gear for a build that is untenable except if you wear this gear). For two, someone kicked me down pure physical build gear and, on the LCS the damage appeared much lower, however IRL, the damage outperformed the elemental build and furthermore leeches life, plus life on striking and life on kill. Someone tell the current devs if they want the elemental bowzon to succeed, it needs some love! More ways to increase innate elemental damage, more ways to get life so you're not just a 1H-TKO glass cannon. I was looking forward to trying something innovative and new, so I am sorely disappointed.
