@Marco : would you create new act 6 ? new stroy line is awesome. I think you can combine diablo 1 to diablo 2 expansion story line plus mxl u. Is that possible to create act 6 ?

there would have to be ton of new graphics, sprites etc. i think it would be too much work :/ in addition to a lot new locations, monsters, npc's

i dont think new act or new char will ever be added, its just too much work.

The concrete idea we have right now is that ubers are going to take place in lore friendly places, such as butcher being in tristram and cathedral of vanity taking place in cathedral inner cloister(?)

Thanks, I always felt that something was missing without the arches and stairs in act IV and grand staircase to Malah's shop in act V, even though smaller towns have indubious advantages.
