im confident all those boss names (malthael/belial etc etc) were all written down in lore books a long time ago when d2 came out, if not before that.

I mean Median doesn't really make anything up, it's all established lore except for like...brachy and MAYBE DP/infernal machine? Not really sure but the majority of it is established canon (what really surprised me when I looked it up is that the Island of the Sunless Sea is not only a lore location but was also cut from Diablo 1 as a quest and could be interpreted as the act 4 town)

Suppose you're playing Median, and you're given the choice of three portals. Behind one portal is Sigma; behind the others, goats. You pick a portal, say No. 1, and Marco, who knows what's behind the portals, opens another portal, say No. 3, which has a goat. He then says to you, "Do you want to pick portal No. 2?"
