Whats the best socket filler pre-crafted jewels for a lightining/ice sorceress? ORT or p.diamonds? Also how does the Sorc abiulity Abyss work? does it do damage only in the swirl section so you have to place it for that to hit the enemy?

We'll let you know when it's gonna be released.

OH, I've been out the loop for a while so I had no idea if they had announced a date yet.

ort r probably the best.

and yes, the center part of abyss is just for the looks, the swirling thing is what do the actual damage.

Pretty sure perfect diamonds only give spell damage in the weapon, so it's better than Ort for your weapon since it'll boost cold skills as well. Otherwise, Ort runes to boost spell damage or the pgems for max res if you still need that.

How does life on strike work?
and how would you calculate for say tantrum

ex: 7% LoS with 13k hp
would it be 13,000 x 0.07 = 91
so 91 life on every strike?

Life on Striking does not come in percentage, it's always a flat number.

As the difficulties get harder (hatred terror destruction), you face a higher penalty for how effective life leech is. I think on destruction you get like 1/25 of your life leech in return (someone can correct if it's the wrong scale), so in that case you'd get 1/25 x 7/100 = 7/2500 back as life leech.

Life on striking is always flat rate. Tantrum does well with flat LoS since it hits so many times and it's stackable. So you'd get that flat amount back per hit, which in turn may be more effective than % leech.

Just don't confuse the two. They're separate terms: life on striking and life leech.

And for the next question:
Life leach - works with wdm range or melee attack, but it must hit the target. It's % base of physical dmg your char have
Life on striking- works with wdm range or melee attack, doesnt have to hit the target. Don't confuse this with that that your let say arrow will miss entirely your target, than you don't get life back. Your attack actually have to hit the target but even if your attack will be blocked you still get your life back.
Life on striking in melee- works only when you use melee weapon and you actually perform wdm attack on the target.
Life on kill- works with every range/melee wdm attack as well with ONLY poison spells (lorenado, carpet of spiders, ect.) and only if that poison spell will actually kill the target.

P.S. Correct me if im wrong :)
