SP vs. Realm

One month should be enough to fully gear and complete at least one character even for someone that players very casually. And you get three months which not only means you can get to enjoy that character but also make others if you wish (or play even at a slower pace). And then, it starts over.

Also endless farming bores the hell out of me. Nn. Lastly, I prefer items that are considered expensive/best. It's not easy at all to get those specific items every single reset. So, I guess my problem is that I'm picky.

it depends a lot about how much time you play in that month . for those who play 2hour/day , maby 4 days out of 7 (very casually as you said) , i doubt they'll get much farm in one month to full gear a character with end game gear (proper SU's to suit the build) , they might not even have enough time to find some decent gear to trade for the gear they really need , at least not with those drop rates . not to mention eating 500 extra signets , that are usualy a must have , at least for builds that aim for max block .

i see them every day in the shoutbox begging to be rushed to 120 so that they don't waste time leveling , so they may try new builds in a shorter ammount of time , and that's just sad to see . rushing to 120 takes away at least half of that build's essence (and so does respecing from caster to melee then to summoner then to something else with the same character), when you learn what those skills do , how they scale , how to mix them for a good combination to suit your needs ... most end up having new builds they don't know how to play or don't understand how they are supposed to work and then rant about "this build sucks , can someone recomend me the bestest build ? " anyone do terror cows with me so i can try another?" . :wall:

Please tell me this was a joke and you didn't just say rushing is cheating while duping isn't.

it's the same as duping signets of greater experience in SP .

keywork cheating . realm is not cheat free , same as SP isn't . they're the same , but use different methods

You can cheat on Realm as well. It's just called "playing" in there.

Haven't you thought that people who belong to the ones from your 1st quote can actually ask for TCowing too. Guess what's better, wasting those precious 2 hours to gain several more levels in places which you already know very well or finally get to 90/100/120 and be able to do ubers/collect stuff 2-3 days before so you can get to TG center earlier, find gg items earlier etc etc.

Realm is not cheat free, no. But you're trying to dignify duping on SP as "okay" and not cheating because its SP.
