Not too many drastic changes lately. All these guides are viable.

non-ultimative guides are for the most part useless, this is without counting the big chunks of text / information that detail aspects of the game such as mechanics or why should you do A instead of B. You can use them for learning purposes but trying to make a character out of highly outdated skillplans and equipment lists will probably not work too efficiently.

I just tried to download OBS from this link - https://obsproject.com/ and after extracting - says not valid windows 32 application. I am still using windows xp, is there OBS for this version ? If not, need new alternative free program. Thank you.

Just recording some random videos. My laptop will not handle windows 7. And i tried bandicamp earlier. Since OBS is out of question, is there better free alternative than bandicamp ?

FRAPS maybe? Anyway I think all those programs have some sort of restrictions on the free versions, so you could just torrent a full copy.

Try NVIDIA Shadowplay if your laptop has an NVIDIA graphics card. It records and streams gameplay with very minimal effect on your CPU's load and your game's FPS, at the cost of some bitrate.
