Honestly this mod is so fun because of the interesting
quirks just about each unique has with the limited amount of work-around in the game engine. Actually finding a unique that doesn't have some sort of devilish negative state is rare, and it puts an emphasis on the
want of investing into just about every stat, and even gives a purpose to magic items too. Magic items are the only thing that can guarantee you solid stats with no risks, but of course have a limited amount of stats. They will never have negative stats anymore.
The Hell mod has some well though out stuff put into it, beyond the addition of it's fantastic new soundtrack (although it needs better looping on some of them), atmosphere, sounds, quality of life additions (stash, shift clicking belt, weapon swapping, more spell hotkeys), anti-cheese, and difficulty. I cannot repeat enough that the treasures really... well.... shine! They somehow enamor me more than anything else out of anything in this mod, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. Out of my on and off years of playing the mod since 2010, I have never found the same unique item twice. There are a lot of them. And just when you think there is too many, the mod author adds even more.
Since I talked so much about the loot, lets have some more

Cha-fucking-ching.

An example of what I mean when it comes to the itemization;
This ring lets me use Inarius's Seal, which in turn grants me some resistances to make up for whats lost, alongside additional items that grant resistances for me. However, I still do not have max resistances, and I could have much more armor class. I'm also lacking the reduced damage from ranged attacks modifier. In return though I have much more damage and hit recovery.
