Well I guess it's time to edit the post then. Offcourse it's just a marketing move, but it may help Median by capturing the attention of other people that are curious to see what's the deal with a mod that has been voted so much; this is also my very personal experience some years ago. The registration requirement in order to download it's one kind of foggy thing: it seems to happen only from time to time and way less frequently. Nevertheless I still agree with you and I'm happy that good riddance is coming soon whit all of its implications *wink* Σ *wink*... As for Euro Truck Simulator...yep, I'm well aware, I can only hope this year will be different

I've never had to register to use Moddb... I just go to link, hit download, choose EU mirror, and download. (I am in the USA, but I get better speeds from EU servers.)

Well I saw it once myself and wasn't really happy about it. Either way, I still think ModDB is great, especially for small mod projects, since they have cool features such as hosting. But it will be a little inconvenient with the new median launcher, especially with incremental version auto-updates as downloading 350mb chunks everytime wont be required anymore, and we need direct downloads for that to happen.
