Its not about being "near death" that turns me off. Its about the process of "Going down the threshold".
When I play casters I get LAEK for sustain. So when I play bloodzon I cast balefire to burn hp for spell damage, yet after killing few mobs my LAEK lifts me to full orb again therefore losing the bonus so I need to go down yet again for bonus and then lose it again. Lose gain lose gain. Gaining the bonus takes more effort than losing it via LAEK. The process is tedious.
And please don't tell me that I should be contented with just max life given by bachanallia and forgo the other bonuses. You wouldnt want Superbeast to lose the his mega cast rate or spell damage if it were designed same as bachanallia would you?
If I get rid of LAEK then whats going to sustain me against mob damage? Hp potion? Oh please no. We dont have bottomless belts that can hold unli potions. Besides potion brings you to full health. So you have to burn yet again sigh. Is there a potion there somewhere that only heals you upto 75% of you hp only?
If only bachanallia works like a buff wherein when you meet the requirement you gain a buff that last for like 10 or 5 or whatever seconds which gives you a grace period to maintain your red bulb. (Or is this how it works currently? IDK)
Im not good at explaining and my english is bad yes I know. I dont know why Im explaining, Im fine with bloodzon now although I think it can get better, its the holy caster being trumped by unholy caster that concerns me.
Well.. to start things off.. Bacchanalia's bonuses don't come until you hit 1/3 HP, not 3/4..
And I understand what you're saying, but this was all done in conscious creation of the developers because there are many "bloodzon-specific" items, so to speak, in the game that drain % life per second to compensate for the "lose gain" thing you were talking about, for example:

You can also look at the full Bloodzon set, which makes all of your spells cost life instead of mana.There are many ways to make use of Bacchanalia's bonuses without having to just sit and cast Balefire endlessly. The thing is though, if you've watched any of Brackans streams, you don't even need the bonuses to do well enough through gameplay and charms/bosses. Bloodzon is strong enough with high spell damage and pierce, like any other caster. You just get the benefit of the uberskill AND added bonuses to your skills from Bacchanalia. I'd say just wait til he finishes his guide, then you can read through it to see if you like it or not.
. Brackans bloodzon usually has around 26k hp and you still have around 8k hp to meet the requirements. Is 8k hp low? Don't think so
