Good idea, but Marco has a million ideas, and that sounds like alot of work and could cause some confusion for new players. What you basically described is...the void. Since technically the void is all one big map; separated enough with random entry ways so you feel like you spawned only a certain map; when the other things are just epically too far to reach. Also, another reward means what..another charm? Inventory space is already pretty full; though I guess since they increased character size limits (I think); then marco could do such a thing, and make uldy sword a 1x1 charm or something instead. Still havent figured out why its so big for the stats it carries. lol;


@marco, thanks for clarifying that, so basically instead of map variations like k3k having 2 maps; you mean modifying existing meaning it would still have only one map; but that map would be different than the current? In that case; change everything. New adventure, new challenge. bring it ;)

Yeah those charms! I love that it looks like a sword but, might also be nice as a... Dagger? :D more room for invent!

@Berkabus: your idea leads to exactly what I'm trying to get rid of, which is people re-rolling maps.
As mentioned above, the void takes enough care about map rerolling. But that's it.

@King: no, what I'm asking is whether people like the fact that dunc/k3k got new maps considering they are harder.
I won't add map variations in 2016, I'll spend that time doing a brand new map instead (if).

I am a bit surprised with poll results. Although I'm curious about how many people voted "No" just to keep me busy O-)

I wouldn't mind alternative maps if they were "balanced" in the sense that they are relatively equal.

Old duncraig map is 10x easier to obtain demonsbane (and farm assur's bane), and the new K3k is much easier to farm/clear (old k3k has the necromancer in bottom quadrant that's immune because of 2 totems and honestly, the totems on that map are just clustered a bit weird).

I already voted...so...

It could be posible to make an inventory but only for trophies? That would solve the problem of extra thropies in future content without dropping some of them.

As I said, having choices with one being clearly "better" for the player (read: easier) will lead to map rerolling.
So either have only one map (easy solution) or have multiple choices with equal difficulties (harder to do)

Agreed, BUT its very hard to make different maps balanced between each other. So if we are going to have variations with slight difficult difference they must be more than 2 (5 would be perfect) otherwise people will keep re-rolling. The problem that would appear with, for example 5 variations is that people will still find best 2-3 suitable to their style/skill level and will still re-roll. So if we are not going to have balanced variations of these ubers - I'd have voted (YES) for only one variation.
