I posted this on the announcement thread for the next patch, maybe it belongs here idk.

When Median drops char comaptibility in the next patch, which Marco said is coming soon, will they also drop item compatibility, or will items stay the same? If I have an SSI in Plugy with items from present game, will I be able to use them in the nexxt patch. Should I bother farming now even?

To make sure I have a complete understanding on how damage is calculated, does this damage formula contain everything?
T=(((BD*(1+%ED))+Min/Max)*(1+%EWD)*(1+%DS)*WDM)+TTAD+(FED*WDM*(1+%SD) with enemy resist, CB, and Procs somewhere in there...
T:Total Damage
BD:Base Damage
%ED:% Enhanced Damage
Min/Max:Flat Minimum Damage and Maximum Damage; if the minimum damage is one less than maximum damage, minimum damage also acts as maximum damage
%EWD:% Enhanced Weapon Damage (Bonus Skill Damage, Attribute Bonus Damage from Weapon, plain EWD, and Bonus against Undead/Demon) Is there more?
%DS:% chance for x2 multiplier
WDM:Weapon Damage Modifier from skill
TTAD:Target Takes Additional Damage
FED:Flat Elemental Damage
%SD:% Spell Damage
All % values in the formula are converted to decimal.
Is the conversion to X element subject to spell damage like FED?

most probably no item will be compatible except the consumables (runes, gems, shrines , signets , arcane crystals , COTW's ...) , but that's a decent boost compaired to starting from complete zero .

Aight, then i guess i will hold off on going to extreme farming mode, until the next patch drops.

you may move your consumables in a new shared stash to avoid crashes in the next patch for having other legacy items on .

Does the orbing trick with runewords work because you're not rerolling? Otherwise couldn't you do it to every other item type?

Which trick? Double MO weapon RW = reroll. If you make a RW and MO it the Mos disappear if you disjunct the RW. The ones you applied before making the RW don't disappear.

Can you mo a base item, shrine craft it, and break caps, like you would with runewords?
Do skills like pounce, shunpo, and harbringer proc melee procs on the one target they jump to?
