Skill points from levels have been removed, you need to buy skill tombs from those 5 new npcs in each town to level up your skills. They can also drop from champion and such packs and golden chests.

One of the many many many crashes rolled my game back so i gotta kill nihlathak again.

RNG Isus - guess which ones are for paladin ... They are all lvl 20+ that i found yet.

Nihlathak is being such a cunt today summoning sooo many minions they just block my arrows long enough that he heals. Healing to full hp after 10 seconds is a dirty cheap method. Im beginning the see that this mods "Hard" factor is just a bunch of cheap ass mechanics to kill you instantly and make things beyond frustrating and these damn crashes >.<.. Do you guys get the ones with no error message(so you can click ok to close d2se) and you cant access task manager window to close the process so you're forced to do a hard reset on the pc? It's killing me.

I guess attempting to quit weed while playing this is a bad idea.

Can you guys give me a good paladin build? Is Vengeance a viable skill to use with conv aura? Any tips for starting new? A LOT has cahnged since I last played this mod.

Well Im going for a fanaticism smiter, few things to note about smite is that it wont carry any form of elemental dmg, deadly strike or normal life leach. It will carry Crushing Blow and Open Wounds so theyre important mods and also FLAT DMG ON WEAP(adds x -x dmg), It'll also carry procs from weap.
All life leach in this mod is changed to life on striking and smite will benefit from that aswell as life tap leach. For elemental dmg im replying heavily on elemental thorns dmg from Black Guard and maxing all 3 dmg aurafor added synergy(Hell Freeze, Hell Shock, Hell Fire) Most things kill themselves hitting me. I plan to add amp dmg on striking from nightmare challenge to deal with phy immunes.

It's biggest challenges are monsters with multihitting on struck effects, icy breath, lightning enchanted and ofc Iron Maiden Curse(hitting something 2 times while cursed is normally enough to kill yourself) all that being said, once you proc life tap on something its possible to face tank some of those effects.

Thank you. I have 2 more questions: I didnt know i need to buy skill tomes. If i put 2 points into bloodlust, it effectively means I lost a skill? And why do lvl1 skill tomes exist if i need to allocate them in the skill tre first?

It just means you dont need to buy that skill book for the first 2 levels, once youre in act 2 the npc will sell levels 3 and 4 for bloodlust, they increase with each act.
Once you reach nightmare however, they no longer increase in levels meaning you need to either farm the books from drops or buy blank books from the special class npcs and make the book(verry expencive) so i think saving the points you get from quests untill the skill books are no longer sold for the levels you want.

You can use the lvl1 books to learn a skill.

I used all the skill points i started with and began saving them after den of evil.
