4 example:
1) Viz-jun
While I'm running, mobs are killing me somewhere off-screen. No build or class will help here.
2) Lazarus
Lazarus teleports right on top of my head and I can't move. It takes me several hours just to kill it at least once and without catching the out of sync at the most inopportune moment.

I see that players have the same problems on many streams and replays. I can see how you want to bring something new and interesting to the game, but the fact is that the game code is very outdated and not designed for this.
For example, in 10 years you have already released many patches with increased Attack Speed and Cast Speed. I have a good Internet connection, I have a lot of servers from many countries around me, but I constantly see how Life Leech stops working for a few seconds, and this is critical in a crowd of monsters, especially in Scosglen. The crazy attack speed that the game is not designed for and the crazy number of mobs.
These are all unpleasant little things that can be endured, but when the trophies become completely inaccessible, the game loses all meaning.
If most players don't have the same problems, then congratulations. It means that I'm just unlucky and I'll have to play some other Diablo game.

Unfortunately, this is not a skill check, but a desync check.

Are you actually using the run button? You have no armor when you run. Most classes have one or the other when it comes to defense. Block, Armor, Avoid/Evade. You have to attempt to layer defenses to get through higher zones. Also if your leech isn't working you are either not hitting, or don't have enough to outpace the damage. Scos for example, you should be shooting for 80k plus AR, or you will miss a lot.

Lastly, attack speed has been a constant since d2 classic. 12 attack per second bear was a thing long before this mod came around. Double swing was a 4fpa skill when you hit high enough attack speed. This mod largely caps speeds per class.

If you're running over 150 ping, you're likely getting sync issues. I have them pretty often. It's why I play SC.

No

The ping is in the range of 30-120, depending on the selected EU country and server.

Most people do not complete laz, so good job on that. What build are you using for the viz example? There are builds that can tank viz, sco, etc.

Normally its a level / gear / point allocation issue. Viz is also not very spell caster friendly.

Assassin. Any build - melee, caster, another melee, throwing. I can walk through Viz easy using 1 button. The problem is time limit to get Trophy. Mobs kills me out of screen during netcode lag. Im playing many years having such desyncs.
It's difficult, but I dress the assassin so that he can stand in a crowd of mobs even in Scos and survive even if I step away from the PC for a minute. Because of the desync, bosses and challenges are already difficult, and with the new time trials it has become simply impossible to get some trophies. Nothing depends on my skill and my character anymore. Too sad.
ps Bremmtown has same problem but less. 10-20 attempts and I got the trophy in 30 seconds, although with my character it should have been 1-2 attempts.

From the sounds of it, its not the game but your connection. Likely a hop or two is not playing nice. Could also be a computer issue, when i finally upgraded the game ran alot better.

Go in naked, see if your character setup doesnt matter lol. Everything is based on the same fundamentals still. Nothing has changed on that front. Its just not as easy for some quests, and easier for others.

Jackel6672 wrote:Interesting note, as its not listed anywhere in the skill description.

The Warmonger skill "Stampede" adds 0.55556 of your weapons listed (One hand, or two hand) Min and Max total damage to its skill damage.

Tested with a base level 20 (+96), no charms, and no gear / charms other than a weapon.

not sure if its intended, or a bug.

The "Impale" skill on the javazon tree uses the same system. It adds weapon damage to the skill function damage.

Can you please give me some steps to reproduce your testing?

So far I have played around with a custom version of Impale (only 1 projectile which hits only once), and neither the projectile nor the melee hit exhibit the above behaviour.

is it a skill display issue then, atleast in terms of impale? ImageImage

These are with, and without a javelin. Stampede seems to have the same function. Its incredibly hard to test impale on the dummy since it hits so fast. Take .55556 of the javelin damage, and it adds it to the display for the skill damage. This is just the basic javelin you start with.

In testing stampede does have a weird interaction with the damage. The shards do a lot more damage then they should with a 44% wdm.
