Quick question, as a caster is this armor worth keeping or should i just reroll? it doesn't have any ED or so though, feels too bias.

Edit: Blessed Luck Oil failed, as if the armor is screaming "fuck defence" =.=

Doesn't have energy factor so no.

Huh. After a number of mystic orbs that all ended up not lowering the timer I stopped, 9 completely wasted mystic orbs. I got it to level 30 by the way.

I just tried that. The bats are definitely far from immune. Looking at how they melted under a moderate flamestrike with 18K life, I am pretty sure they only had the "normal" 50% max resists on destruction.

Summons can not be immune. Max +minion resistance is capped at 75% on destruction difficulty.


Actually, if I understand correctly, the cap is on the "@minion res" gear that can't bypass 75%. Since every summon level gives 75% capped all resists at level 5, this means that maximum resists for minions on destruction difficulty is 75+75 -100 = 50% @ res cap.
However iirc, bat familiars are supposed to be the "one and only" exception to this rule, being able to stack resists from gear as much as they want. And reach immunity.

I know I am the only dumbass out there trying to use bats, because it takes 2 full minutes to summon them and it's a pain in the bots to do even in the cold plains. But if bats can't reach elemental immunity, they are worthless. They are supposed to be tanky because they are nigh impossible to summon in a difficult environment (every uber really).

how are 30 familiars that can reach tons of HP , 50%+ avoid (perfect being) and innerhit the damage from ways worthless ? :lol:

also , you must summon them before you enter "the difficult enviroment" not after you went inside . and once you are inside you only need to re-summon after they die - and they don't die all at once . 3-4 die , summon others .

such strong summons are worth the 2 minutes summoning that you mentioned . you only need to keep summoning after they get killed . and use that damn charm to make your life easyer .

assassins are glass cannons , so this meatshield has it's price .

IIRC the bats used to get elemental immunity with enough summon resists but was nerfed several patches ago by laz.
