I've been running pretty close to the same build as Solfege. Only difference is I run Snow Queen instead:
30 Moonstrike
1 Bladestorm
15 Fusillade
1 Arcane Sustenance
0+ Premonition (I have 49% chance to block right now at level 122 so this doesn't actually matter until I go finish my sigs)
1 Immersion
1 Arcane Torrent
1 Raven Familiar
24 Warp Armor
25 Snow Queen (or 10 Vengeful Power and some extra skill points to put wherever like Solfege is doing, your choice)
15 Baneblade
5 Symbol of Esu
1 Force Blast
1 Melee Devotion
5 Tenacity
10 Specialization
(use Meditation until level 49 since that's the last time you can respec for free, and Purity until Hell Baal)Pertinate wrote:Debating on seeing if a coldblood ele melee sorc would clear better
Doubt it - I didn't notice anything being worse in Duncraig than in previous patches (and my Teganze clear is actually better), so I think it's just the skill mechanics that make the clear iffy? Fusillade is single-target, even if it's a crapton of single-target that can clear a small pack every use, and most of the clearspeed Bladestorm offers comes from AoE Attack. Spiral Dance is supposed to be better but the delay is so long it barely helps, AoE Attack kills things before it even hits.
EDIT: Actually, you'll get plenty of Blizzard procs, and you should build with plenty of cold pierce... not sure what the base damage on Blizzard is like so it might work out after all.
I've used Parasite fromHellmouthto good effect in previous seasons, so there's an idea for you.Hellmouth

I put them on when I switched to a crafted warp blade because I happened to have a pair and don't have nearly enough ACs to craft IAS jewels with. The %dex is great for my damage + block, and the reanimates are just enough so I don't get surrounded and stunlocked. I wouldn't try to use them in early game because you want that slot for Lionpaw (and you've already got plenty of reanimates from The Warped Blade), but it's a nice pair of boots as you transition to midgame gear.
I guess my problem is that I haven't played the last few patches. So I might be comparing my clear to old clear times. I can clear dunc in like <10min. Fauzt takes considerably longer tho
