and stuff like that. For gloves your best bet is honorific with str MOs. Also MO life on attack and %AR on your weapon as soon as you can.


Fair points :mrgreen: . Guess I will switch to Bear Stance asap since ele barb feels squishy as I progress further to Hell. Regarding Nephalem Spirit, I think there is still merit in it if maxing dex though, for a general ele-damage setup at least, since it add Fire + Lightning damage based on Dex too. But of course, if one go for a dedicated cold-pierce vs. fire/lightning-pierce setup, it may get complicated.


Indeed, the problem with nephalem with crystal sword is that unless you invest in tri-elemental pierce, which isn't easy to come by when you are also trying to max dex, it will add next to nothing to your DPS, while runemaster will increase your survivability by A LOT. You could probably switch out of bear stance in end game for eagle stance and go with runemaster to fill the defense gap. Will probably test those setups once I get to Fauzt

deadly strike is only for weapon physical damage

and yes, askari lighting does 100% of stormcall physical and 40-60% of stormcall maximum lightning, times the 300%+ multiplier

Is there a write up of Fire/Cold/Lightning Absorb somewhere? If not can someone quickly explain how it works? Say you have 5% Fire Absorb and 85% Fire Resistance. You take a 10k fire hit. Does the absorb heal you for 500, 5% of the original hit, or 75, 5% of the 1500 you take after resistance.

Or does it work some completely different way and I'm just spitting nonsense here.

Yes, but it's probably faster to go and get all the gear for labs and then do labs instead.

75. But technically, it doesn't actually matter for % sorb, because they're multiplicative. You're taking 1,350 damage no matter which order they work in.

Is there any viable Ama build except Bowazon in 2.0? Reworked Java feels clunky and underwhelming, Spearzon sucks too. Blood, Hammerzon? I have not test it yet. :/
