using 2 arcane crystals and an oil of enhancement. The Darklings can actually make your damage output against bosses skyrocket. But even if you don't use those summons, you can still use Dark power, which is an insane skill. It adds crushing blow, attack speed, magic damage and physical damage to your minions. If you're going for that, you can use

as a shield, so you get more skeletal flayers and more importantly minion resistance. Thanks to those minion resist, your Darklings should be basically immune throughout terror difficulty. (Please note, that the amount of stats of the uniques depend on the tier of the item (the number behind the item name, typically labeled as (1) up to (6)) You can upgrade your unique items by using an arcane crystal and a rune.)
The affix "slain monsters rest in piece." is good for melee build, who want the enemies to charge at you. Reanimates (typical labeled as "X% chance to reanimate as (enter monster name here)") however block enemies and thus can reduce your killspeed in some cases. You don't need this affix for now. But the catalyst of destruction is good if you get a rare armor for example, but want to make a runeword in it. That's how you can create the base for that. In other cases, you can combine it with the Charsi quest reward. If you need a rare ancient armor (highest defense possible, that's why it's typically used) but only a magical one drops, you can turn it into a normal item, which lets you make it rare thanks to charsi's imbue.
