There R many axes and daggers destinated 4 druid char...just make a few tristram hatred runs and find out what's in Griswold's gift box is...
Up to the point there's no chance to farm any kind of sword designated 4 druid warewolf char. That indicates what I'm actly talking about...
@Marco, there's a bug in the game. While I'm using the Harbinger skill it doesn't work when fighting with Duriel whilst. It also doesn't work with some large mobs, sometimes.

these "large mobs" wouldnt be in Act 4 would they?
IIrc harbinger is like pounce (which also doesnt work with duriel btw) there is an aura in there that stops teleporting.

got why there's the aura preventing teleporting but you know - it's a kind of character's build discrimination...
after all, there's one dilema resolved. if i could i'd gave you +1.

Don't know if this is the place for this.

But, suggestions:
-Light Radius recipe for items? Used to play ES, it had such a modifier. Used to play sin and necro with 0 light radius, fun times.

Is it possible to implement a Gamble Filter? So that only certain item types (or amounts) appear when you gamble? Spend lots of time gambling rings and jewels, it would be nice to buy multiples at a time, or when I am looking for a base item type, I could easily set a gamble filter to find it.

I wish some formulae use some of "not-popular" stats if it is possible.

light radius, stamina, replenish life (decent, but it should be increased by some % in vit or skill), %thorn damage etc etc.

Hi, I have a small suggestion that maybe some consider is not important, or maybe is imposible to make, but i feel some of the main quests in the game are just useless, and i think maybe they can be changed for other ones, for example (Act I - The Forgotten Tower), yes the reward is some gold (alround 4000), and some runes or gems, but is not a good reward, maybe you can make it harder and add a reward like some unique items, or some arcane cristals, another example, (Act-II - The Blackened Sun, Act-II The Arcane Sanctuary, Act-II The Summoner), These Quests Dont give you anything, and some quest are just a part of other like Staff Of The Kings Or The Seven Tombs, So, Why Dont Change them to some usefull, for example, the blackened sun you make a boss who you need to beat in order to make the sun shine again, a boss different than the one in the claw viper temple, the arcane sanctuary you make other 3 bosses beside the summoner you need to beat before the portal to canyon of the magi get opened, and the summoner, you can have it surrounded by minions, and when you beat him, you get good reward like a unique item or a charm, instead of the true sign of tal rasha tomb, because you just can visit each tomb until you find the correct one (what is the best because you can farm and lvl up quickly), another examples could be (Act-IV the Blackenned Temple) who is a part of khalim wills's, (Act-I The Horadric Malus), make it give you an unique item instead of just a rare, because all people knows how to make rare for cheap, (Act-V Siege on Harrogath), instead of sockets, Make It Uptier A Weapon Or Armor, So It Increase Sockets As Well, (Act-V Rescue on Mount Arreat), make it drop a great rune, (Just 1) per act, maybe is impossible to change the main quests of the game, but if yes, this would improve the game for better.

For the most part, yes, it is impossible, at least before sigma is out there.


Anyways. Thing is, diablo II is a game where the act quests are it. I mean, there isn't much to do besides doing the quests and then leveling up / farming without much goal at all. Median is about the uberquests, that's where most of the content is at - so the act quests are pretty much just a transition until you get to that point where you start beating ubers. In vanilla, you beat the 3 difficulties and congrats, you beat the game. In median, you finish destruction and you're just starting the game.

And the problem here are that there are 3 difficulties you need to complete in median before you can start playing. That to me seems like enough quests. And don't get me wrong, doing the acts in median is a lot of fun to me (I've spent my last years of median just going from 1 to 120 in hardcore, which is pretty much just running the acts). But as it is now, it feels like there are enough quests, there is at least one quest per act that isn't mandatory yet give great rewards (den, radament, lam esen, izual, anya) and then you have the act bosses too.

It is worth mentioning challenges serve as quests too, so to me I feel the early game has more than enough content as it is.

Maybe leave the quest like they are, just improve the bosses you need to fight, make them toughter and smarter, with unique skills, then make them drop some items they usually couldnt drop normally, because like you said, act quests are just like "something you must do" instead something you must get fun with, dont get me wrong, some of the quest i like them, for example the first time i rescued decard cain, when your character says "decard cain, if you value your life..." that was very good speech, another example could be rite of passage, at the end of the speech they say "before you enter, you must defeat us...", that was just awesome and scary a little, i just say, if maybe you give better reward to each quest and make the boss quest tought, maybe people will have fun before even can arrive to uberquest, because if you even cant defeat these bosses, how the hell you can think you can defeat the butcher, the most easier uberquest. is just a suggerence, i know is a hard because you need to code it hardly.
