No thanks! This would spoil the challenge of finding sacred items for crafting and arcane crystals for uptiering...

Is it possible with the new "Daily challenge" system in sigma, to get a trophy as reward?
if yes, you could set as a challenge, kill brother laz below 2 minutes to get the trophy to 100%.
Than trophy farming actually won't be just luck and rng annoying farming anymore.
(You could still leave the two % drop chance for the players who are not so good so they still have a chance to get the trophy. Cuz I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to kill laz below two minutes.)
It could also be another challenge eg summon 5 astrogha at once and kill all of them without dying to get the trophy..

What do you think?

ill use this as idea...

i have no idea if this can be implemented in this game...

you have a 100% chance of trophy dropping after killing the boss in a determined number of times

for example:

you killed laz...then it will become ( 1/50),in other words if u complete laz more 49times u will have a 100%chance of a trophy dropping, but if you get a trophy before u reach the determined number,it will just reset to 0/50 again

Pseudorandom is my favorite random. It doensn't need to have 100% after 50 tries but 100% after 150 kills seems more than reasonable.

Agree as well. It's a compounding effect from multiple changes.

Dunc -> squishy/timered builds totally fucked or delayed heavily by forced teleports, and a weak char that can farm the main room of dunc now only has a 50% chance of actually spawning that version.
Mf change -> a weak char that could farm main room of dunc now has no point in doing it, because dunc drops are practically zero with 150-200 mf. You need to be able to melt through it with elixirs of greed to actually see green or gold.
Nihlathak -> drops are now shit and grind increased, as if this wasn't the most monotonous grind already in place.
TA/k3k -> hopeless to grind sigs/gear through here + TA is far too much trouble for many builds to be even considered enjoyable during the point of the game when running TA might actually make sense.
Trade -> finding gear is a lot more fun than trading it, hello diablo 3.
Endgame -> I did ~20 yshari runs and mostly ran fauzt/vizjun last ladder. The highest drop other than a random sacred armor cotw was a lamen. I mean seriously... that's pathetic for the amount of time invested.

Right now playing anything other than a fotm mainstream build feels like a massive grind where you are more or less forced to run 500 sigs from nihlathak to eventually reach a point where you still get nothing. Not much fun ladder after ladder. Add to that some fun rng like khalimgrad not dropping in 50 runs (followed by having to do rathma square 25 times) and it completely burns you out. Add to this other misc changes like doubled grind for jewelcrafting and you start to feel like a fucking chinese gold farmer.

I can't recommend a farming spot for a new player because they all suck (unless you want to exploit trade for gear, which isn't fun). If I want to play a trading simulator I'll go play eve online. Right now the the most optimal way of doing things is completely contrary to what should be by design.

Agreed with all that u said . The bad thing is some want to nerf it more . And lets not forget the worst idea added with enchanted crystals. Lets just farm charms and sell them to those who cant and with the crystals to reroll the gear untill we get what item we want . Worst ideea ever with those crystals

Nah just you are bunch of lazy unskilled tards. You are not supposed to obtain everything in 5 days of gameplay. Dunc drops 2-5 set/su per run, thats pretty much enough. If you dont bother bother to play, deal with crap gear, p2v or better just stfu.

Btw if you are buying charms you suck and must suffer, so its all good

First of all, let me just say that I understand this outcry about drop rates. I still remember the XVc ladder (my first one) where the drop rates were HIGHER than on single player (yes). You never had to set foot in any uber level as the elites in the regular game were raining sets and dropped SU quite frequently. Thus I don't blame you guys since the drop changes between XVc and XVr were pretty massive in context. You were on the Heroin-like drop rate high for so long that now you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms.

Secondly - your complaints are not justified because you are still living in the past. Understand this - the game was never meant to be played by getting to 120, finishing basic charms, grinding 500 signets through nihlatak and in the process instantly jumping self-found from TUs/lvl 100 RWs to a full set or SU + in every slot by running the regular game or k3k & TA with lum sockets.

With the current version you now have more gearing options than ever - 150 powerful endgame runewords were just introduced. You do not need to jump from your levelling attire straight into sacred uniques for your character to work - those are meant to be the tip of the gear pyramid and are meant to take time to obtain.

Every single build, whether it is tier 1 or below has so many endgame viable options that are not SUs or sets that can be obtained with close to 100% certainty by anyone - there are rares & crafts, fauzt & toraja GR, elemental runewords & empowered runewords. You take your character to the place which is easiest to farm for your build, you evaluate for yourself what the viable upgrades for your char are from those categories and you farm there. After you obtain some items like this your character is stronger to push through that next uber or farm the other places for more gear until you can finally reliably clear places like fauzt/duncraig/triune which have good SU & set drops.

An example from my own experience - my storm amazon last ladder (before stormcall was buffed). I SLAVED the sewers for those 6 elemental runes. It took me 25 minutes per clear but I pushed through because I knew that the upgrade was so good. This time investment would allow me to finish up midgame charms and put me at a place where I could comfortably farm duncraig and finally start getting those sweet SUs, without any fancy teleport skill.

So yes it is harder to obtain godlike gear if you are only tunnel visioning on sets & SUs like before, but this makes those drops that much sweeter. Your progression is only limited by your stubbornness to adapt.

Also let's please keep it civil and on-topic. There is no need to behave like assholes / trolls just to annoy others you do not agree with.
