For single player, what will happen with items which have bonus energy factor? Will it affect gameplay in any way or should one grind them anew?

As the devs stated, they don't have a way to change items. So, most 1.6 items will be stronger than intended.

Reduced the effectiveness of physical and magic resistance debuffing skills. Reduced the physical and magic resistances of endgame bosses to compensate. These debuffs were creating a very large damage output difference between builds with and without them. Now the debuffs are less effective and the base monster resistance is lower, evening out the playing field a bit better.
MANA SQUISH:
Halved all the mana costs and mana replenish mechanisms
Halved the total mana values for all characters
Doubled the damage values of all mana spells
Change was made to prevent the mana orb UI from glitching out, and associated bugs, when going over 65k mana
As above, most of these changes will only apply to new characters and equipment


Does that mean that I would have to start leveling a new Mana Sorc since she would now have only 50% of mana bonus in new items? Basically, halving the damage they provide?

I also wonder how new Spell Focus affects Feedback based spells? Does that mean that we're also screwed and compared to other sorcs we still want to keep pumping points into Energy?

Mana has been halved this patch, old mana sorcs will have more base mana and have higher flat mana items while also having the buffed mana skills therefore they will be strictly better.

Pretty sure mana spells were unaffected by energy factor and %energy synergy; only scaling off mana total, if this is the case then its also unaffected by spell focus. But anyways, other sorcs will still want to spend in energy since you still get spell dmg from energy in 1.7.

Ah, it seems that I missed the fact that skills will also get damage updated, regardless of if it's a new character or old.

By removing shamanic trance EWD bonus dmg , this literally killed Barbarian’s chance to do Lab’s , you are forced to play bear stance in lab , and without any ewd source it will takes 2 hours to clear a red map , it was not usefull just for bosses . Take a look at Paladin’s Buff it adds both ewd and defence bonus , its like a 2 in 1 stance , i know what a barb can do and now its literally game over for endgame stuff , you have to invest in vita in lab and str stacking will only give you around 500-600 ewd at best , leaving you with 1k-1.5k total ewd with best gear which is nothing.
