(haven't looked through the whole thread) Could we get an inventory auto sort button? How difficult would it be to add features/buttons that can extract all runes, jewels/rings/ammys, gems, mos, or potions in inventory to open stash page?

What about a command to clear drops on floor. like /ClearDrops. That would clear the drops from your screen but not others. Idk if it would work but that would be usefull to lots of people.

What? Melee sorc is quite powerful. Same for melee paladin & treewarden. Werewolf is also strong, however I can't tell for myself (but it was the most OP build on last ladder as far as I remember). For barbarians I don't know, never was attracted much to that class, but as far as I know it was good too. That already makes a bunch of more than viable melee builds.

Also, with the possibility of very high life bosses and a few other implementations, the use of lame tricks like heroic shields are likely to be seen a lot less in Sigma (and those lame tricks are what made a lot of builds more or less viable most of the time, for example doing heroics with a melee sorc was a joke). I hope with my implementations, marco can make most of the ubers hard, not just impossible for the half of builds and easy for the rest. Sure some builds will still do better in some situations, it's impossible to balance it at 100% for every single class, but I think it's okay that way. But the way it is currently, simply isn't that and clearly gives major advantage to a few character types.

Hopefully with more fix on hard coded melee skill function in sigma will make melee build more fun.

Quite tired of median "melee attack spawn bajillion missiles"

I can't think of any way to keep melee competitive with ranged builds unless melee attacks spawn a bajillion missiles. :scratch: (You could always make them an invisible nova that hits the whole screen, but that's still missiles, just not visible ones).

Yeah, or Mana Sweep.

But my point is that unless a melee skill does a lot of damage at range there is no way it can keep up with ranged builds that can stand still and kill everything on the screen and beyond. And the only way to do that is to spawn a bunch of missiles, visible or not.

If it were a different type of game with low monster density you could make it so that melee builds have the ability to block and parry shots and do a lot of high single-target damage once they get into melee range, whereas all ranged builds have low defenses and have to kite and slowly kill all the enemies. But this is MXL, none of that applies.
