it's still very good for ranged wdm builds due to the 10% slow

I might be writing a miniguide relatively soon. I've seen a lot of people asking about this build, and from what I've seen, most do it wrong or just aren't sure how to. It won't include how to do every uber, but little tips and tricks, gear, and skillplans, probably. If I do it, you'll see it within a few days or so.

there used to be such a miniguide in my compilation that got deleted because every route i took to update him , be it totems+shadows / totems + malice tree / totems + oskills / totems + summons failed in hard ubers , even with heavy twinking . viewtopic.php?t=491&start=230 . it's decent untill one point when it becomes "meh" . maby you can get some realm only gear to make it shine .

Honestly, doesn't everything become Meh after certain points?

no ,most builds become "wow" after a certain point when you get most of the end game gear and charms . the totemancer is quite the oposite : it starts "wow" and ends to "meh"

In docs it notes that with this recipe u get 5% max all res

"Any Unique Amulet + Moon of the Spider" 5% chance, if it works.

Does all res include % Magic res?

Also, in destruction do you start out with 0% magic res? or does it have the same penalty as standard resists

Agreed. It's fantastic for Akarat farms, etc for trophies. all the easy summons, killing dbaal quick, such and such. sewer farming is what I used mine for mostly. Summons to take hits. Fire totems for easy clear. do nothing but teleport and check items.

Edit: but like Chuck said. It starts terrific. It uses almost no gear. Last ladder, I did it with t1 honorifics apart from a staff and armor and beat dbaal with those. Then it just gets kinda boring and you have to respec for most ubers anyways. Really good for untwinked start though.

Penalty is affected for magic and all resists doesnt affect magic res (If it is the same as Original Diablo 2) I could be wrong because Marco could have edited the Properties.txt and added one of those mix attributes such as X% to life an mana. (I know this because he released the TXT files for v005 and below.) I have seen alot of attribute mixes and changes. and it could probobly be changed now. but if not Then it should be as i said.

maby it can get a minor boost with some realm only gear , but it won't get more than 10% better than it can get in SP . also , let's not forget about

that can be used to get more practical (teleporting / caster ) builds out of totems . at some point i wanted to add a totem sorceress based on that item , ( not that's a strong totemancer in end game) , same as for 12 more builds that are almost finished , but then i took an arrow to the knee and got bored of all this , and decided to take a pause and play some dota 2 instead for a while :)) . i might post those 12 (or more) next month if there would be enough dota2 therapy untill then .
