This is another MOD
May be we can do better for left panel
EX: add some small icons ...

I think the GUI coding already takes enough time as it is, I really don't plan on implementing multi-resolution support, as it would only make it more tedious and long to replace the GUI code. There's also all kind of actual game mechanics problem that would come with a resolution greater than that, already mentioned in the topic.
whist wrote:Fixed. Anyways with all the GUI code that has been rewritten from scratch, D2MultiRes and many other plugins/hacks will not work any more. Even PlugY is not compatible for all kind of code conflicts. Although, some features of PlugY are built-in in Sigma (ilvl display, expanded stat screen, ability to pickup multiple charms in cube/stash). With the source of PlugY being released, I might also implement multi-page stash, with a possibility of having it work on realm as well (realm would likely have a limited number of pages though)
I do not plan on re-implementing shared stash in single player as this was just used for cheating and twinking (although it will be implemented on realm. like an account shared stash, with (maybe) the possibility of sharing access with specific users). Even the normal stash might have a limited amount of pages in single player. Unlimited pages was never a "must". Not to mention the stash page is quite big in sigma (bigger than mxlu)

Lowerthenscum wrote:Since there's going to be a shared stash online I feel like that's a big fuck you to people who are playing offline. You're letting server players do the exact same thing I've been able to do offline for years while giving me the middle finger because somebody might use it for cheating in their single player game. If I decided I want to dupe items I'd just use lan and character backups to dupe just as easily. You aren't even stopping the cheaters from cheating. You're not even making it more difficult. You're just making things a pain in the ass for the people who are farming all their items legitimately and decide to use them however they want to in their single player game.
Lowerthenscum wrote:Also you don't decide if unlimited pages and a shared stash are a "must" for me. They are a must for my experience and if they aren't there I probably won't even bother to update. Removing the shared stash does nothing but remove from my experience and I have my doubts that all these code changes are going to really be enough to counter that loss.
Lowerthenscum wrote:I also have to ask why do you care if anybody cheats offline? Why do you care so much about what other people do with their game? It doesn't effect you at all. They aren't duping on the server if they do dupe. If they use a maphack/dupes/etc and you feel it ruins their experience then that's cool but it's their experience to do with what they want. If you want to argue that Marco/Laz didn't intend for people to cheat in their game the original D2 Devs didn't intend for you to rewrite and rework their game into a pretty much new experience entirely.
Marco wrote:To write in such an arrogant manner, you should at least have some self-respect and have a minimal understanding of what you're talking about. If we wanted, we could prevent duping completely by printing an unique ID to each item and check on game startup for duplicate IDs and corrupt your character if a match is found. Yes, we can stop cheaters from cheating, big time. We cannot kill cheating entirely neither is that our intention, that's obvious.

marco wrote:Regardless of that, your post is so full of bs. You think SP cheating doesn't have an effect in the game and the balance? You are wrong, big time. SP mass duping and cheating has influenced median balance in bad ways since the creation of this mod.
